In terms of power, new Geekbench benchmark data has emerged in which the Pixel 10 phone, codenamed Frankel, scored only 1323 points in the single-core test and 4004 points in the multi-core test. As stated by the PhoneArena portal.

In this regard, Tensor G5 loses to Snapdragon 8 Elite. But there is one feature that still gives Google’s chip an advantage.

PhoneArena writes that Tensor G5 will lead in games: it is equipped with a powerful IMG DXT graphics chip from Imagination, and its overall performance is significantly higher than the Adreno 830 installed in Snapdragon 8 Elite. Chinese insider Jukanlosreve reported this.

Jukanlosreve explains the chipset’s low scores in benchmarks by the fact that there are still a few months left before the Pixel 10 launches. The chip featured in the comparison is likely to be an early version, and its performance will likely improve as it is optimized.

But overall the chip’s speed will still “not be the same as other high-end chips.”
