Small and medium-sized cities often use separate heat and electricity supply systems, resulting in frequent accidents and reduced quality of life. To solve this problem, scientists have proposed converting boiler rooms into mini CHPs using gas turbine and gas piston technologies.

The system also includes thermal regulators, active heating points and electrical energy storage systems. This will create a flexible and more efficient energy supply system that reduces dependence on external factors.

Mathematical modeling has shown that adding a thermal storage device to the system will allow thermal energy to be dissipated over time. This will increase the efficiency of energy resources by 16%, improve work schedules and increase the continuity of heat supply.
