With AI in Notepad, you can rephrase a sentence or rewrite it in a different style. To do this, you need to select a part of the text, right-click on it and click “Rewrite” in the window that appears. For now, the feature is only available to Windows Insider members.

Microsoft is also testing new AI tools for Paint: generative fill and generative erase. The first allows you to generate an object and add it to the image using a text query, and the second allows you to remove an unnecessary object.

Generative padding is only available to Windows Insiders using Copilot+ PCs, like the Surface Pro that Microsoft announced in May. All program participants running Windows 11 can use generative wipe.
