A feature of the project is a program designed specifically for doctors, which includes courses in web development, neural networks and data analysis in medicine. Students will be able to work on real-life hands-on projects that will help them put their knowledge into practice and become digital medical engineers.
Sberbank president German Gref noted that in the new campus, medical students will be able to master not only technical skills, but also “soft” skills. To enter campus, students undergo “pooling,” a special training course that familiarizes them with the basics of programming. The first “pool” was completed and 122 people participated.
Rector of Moscow State Medical University Petr Glybochko emphasized that thanks to the campus, students will be able to combine medicine with important digital competencies, which will open up additional opportunities for them in scientific and practical fields.
