The director of Sk Capital, Vladimir Sakovich, explained that the main task of the holding company will be the creation of technological partnerships in priority sectors for the State, together with entrepreneurs and infrastructure players. In his words, the structure will use a consolidation model around market leaders, uniting small companies. Among the priority areas, cybersecurity, unmanned vehicles, computer equipment, medical technologies and industrial technologies, such as robotics and industrial software, stood out.
Sakovich said that the volume of investment in each holding company will be 5 billion to 10 billion rubles, with the possibility of attracting partners at later stages. The objective is to promote the creation of Russian high-tech public companies, he stressed. “Vertical Investments” will receive the first tranche of 25 billion rubles for the development of new holdings. When selecting projects, the main criteria will be high technology, investment attractiveness and export potential.
