MTS held the final of the All-Russian championship in algorithmic programming and robotics True Tech Champ. The final stages in the format of show programming and robot races were attended by more than 3.5 thousand offline guests, and the online broadcast was attended by about 600 thousand viewers.

This year, more than 12.5 thousand people applied to participate in True Tech Champ, including winners of Russian and international programming competitions and members of the national team. In the final stages, more than 250 participants were admitted, including schoolchildren and students, as well as current IT specialists.
The tournament included two tracks: an individual competition in algorithmic programming and a team competition in robotic programming. The final stage took place in the format of programming shows and robot races. In front of the audience, the guys solved problems for a while and also wrote codes for robot mice so that they could quickly find a way out of the mazes with special effects: flashes of light, smoke, moving walls.
The total prize fund of the championship exceeded 10 million rubles.
In the conference room, stylized as a garage, a workshop on stress of MTS recruiters “Bad Social Security”, a team logic game, a comedy battle “Bad Proger Jokes” and much more were held.
There were more than ten entertainment zones on the site, where those who wished could conquer the climbing wall along an AI-generated route; write code against cable tension; Try on the role of a championship finalist and take part in a robotic mouse race, attend a master class on circuit board soldering, and adult visitors can even get a tattoo. After the award ceremony, popular artists Anton Tokarev, AVG, Jakone and DJ Konstantin Teleshev performed for the guests.
“Many IT stars participated in the mathematics and programming Olympiads, from the co-founders of the largest international corporations to prominent scientists. Despite the fact that not everyone won prizes, the tournaments, according to them, helped to develop logical thinking, as well as learn to see opportunities and find non-standard solutions,” said Pavel Voronin, first vice president of MTS Technologies. .
MTS celebrates True Tech Champ for the second time. Last year more than eight thousand people participated in the contest.
