NVIDIA launched an application designed to consolidate its applications most popular. After several months of testing, the manufacturer announced the release of the first version. New application replaces GeForce Experience and combines some Control Panel features, such as the ability to apply specific graphics characteristics to each compatible game or software.

The company posted an update on its blog announcing the launch of the first version of the app. According to the manufacturer, the application offers single control center for GPU which allows you to adjust the settings of games, programs or drivers, as well as the ability to install other NVIDIA applications. The redesigned overlay interface also integrates shortcuts for streaming, game recording, or performance monitoring functions.

In practice, the NVIDIA application GeForce experience on steroids. The manufacturer has redesigned the user interface to make room for advanced customization functions that we can only find in the Control Panel. There is a sidebar with shortcuts Driver loading, graphics settings and overclocking function in which we can choose automatic adjustment or manually change the maximum limits for voltage, temperature, power consumption and much more.

NVIDIA aims to simplify configuration options so that any user can improve their gaming performance. The app finds the sweet spot between GeForce Experience’s one-click optimizations and the advanced menus with Windows XP aesthetics offered by the Control Panel. The result is a bar that automatically adjusts values to favor performance or visual quality, accompanied by a list of graphical characteristics.

The NVIDIA app is not ready to replace the old Control Panel.

According to the manufacturer, the NVIDIA application installs twice as quickly as GeForce Experience and is 50% faster to respond. Although the application includes the most important GPU features, it is still need to integrate support for multiple monitors, surround sound, etc.. Because of this, NVIDIA is not ready to get rid of the old Control Panel and will retain the downloads.

Overclocking features in the Nvidia app

The interesting point about the application is that no longer requires loginlike GeForce Experience. If you have an NVIDIA account, you can do this and unlock some special offers. There is a special category in the side menu where we can redeem codes or access promotions. This option was half empty in beta, as all offerings typically launch in the US and other countries.

It is also worth noting that the drivers section offers additional driver information for installationsuch as supported games, new features, or bug fixes. While this information is available in the update notes, the app offers basic details and a link to read all the changes on the website.

The NVIDIA app will available from today as an additional download. If you are an advanced user who manages everything from the Control Panel, there is no need to install it. On the contrary, if you are a content creator, want to record gameplay videos or easily customize your graphics card without struggling with the Windows XP interface, it is highly recommended.
