This “smart” gadget is installed on a stand with moving parts, on which a transparent container is placed.

The user only needs to add tea and pour water, then gpTea independently prepares and heats the drink and then pours it into a glass.

As soon as the owner picks up the cup, gpTea asks about his health and offers to tell a story, creating a dialogue via ChatGPT.

At the same time, images corresponding to the topic of conversation appear on the built-in screen, providing visual accompaniment to the conversation and making drinking morning or evening tea more enjoyable and rich.

This project was developed by Harvard Design School student Kevin Tang and MIT student Kelly Fang as part of research at the MIT Design Intelligence Lab.
