The US Department of Justice will appeal to the antitrust court with a proposal to sell Google the Chrome browser.
This comes as a US judge established Google’s search monopoly. The Ministry of Justice also demands that the company limit the integration of Search and Google Play in Android by default.
Owning the world’s most advanced web browser is key to Google’s advertising business. The company can see the activity of registered users and use this data to better target promotions that generate the majority of its revenue.
