Russia may introduce new measures to combat phone scammers, including the creation of a database of biometric data. Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev spoke about this at the conference “Customer Safety Comes First”. According to him, this approach will make it possible to detect and block attackers more effectively.
Another initiative will be the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies to help telecom operators track suspicious calls. The Minister stated that the use of artificial intelligence is planned to be included at the legislative level to protect subscribers from fraudsters. This will help you respond faster to fraud attempts and protect your customers.
Shadayev added that additional measures to combat phone fraud are currently being actively discussed. The main goal of the proposed initiatives is to make user interactions with operators safer.
