One of the first users was Marko and Neha Sarcevic, a couple with two young children from Stockholm. The app allows users to complete tasks and track progress. Each family member can remind others if a task is not completed on time. Neha found this feature useful but admits that she doesn’t use it very often.
The idea for the app came to engineer Victor Fredrickson when his father got tired of reminding him of household chores such as doing laundry. Fredrickson created Accord with classmate Marcus Pahlman.
The application aims to make household chores more transparent and fair. It can also express gratitude for completed tasks, which helps improve the atmosphere within the family.
