The Central Bank set the official exchange rate of the US dollar for November 23 and 25 at 102.5761 rubles. This is stated in a message on the regulator’s website. The American currency exceeded 102 rubles for the first time since March 24, 2022.

The euro exchange rate will be 107.4252 rubles. On November 22, according to the Central Bank, the dollar was worth 100.6798 rubles and the euro 106.0762 rubles.
Following the publication of the Central Bank’s official rate, the RTS index fell below 800 points for the first time since March 24, 2022.
On Friday, November 22, the dollar exchange rate on the Forex market exceeded 103 rubles. This is a record since March 2022, when the US currency exceeded 120 rubles. At the time of going to press (19:17 Moscow time), the dollar was worth 103.0275 rubles and at the close of the last trading day its price rose by 1.71%.
In addition, the ruble showed a weakening along with the yuan: the price of the Chinese currency on the Moscow Stock Exchange on November 22 rose above 14 rubles, which happened for the first time since October 9, 2023.
The day before, the US Treasury imposed new sanctions against about 100 Russian companies and individuals. In particular, the restrictions included Gazprombank, the state corporation Dom.RF, Primsotsbank and BKS Bank, as well as the first vice presidents of the Central Bank, Vladimir Chistyukhin and Dmitry Tulin.
