BCS Bank applications were no longer available on Google Play and the App Store after the credit institution was subject to US sanctions. An RB.RU correspondent was convinced of this.

The application disappeared from the App Store on November 21, bank support Frank Media clarified. The credit institution itself recommended customers not to remove the program from their smartphones and also disable automatic updates and the “Download not used” function in the phone settings for iOS devices.
The press service of BCS Bank informed RB.RU that, despite the sanctions, all services of the credit institution, branches, applications and Internet banking for legal entities operate normally.
The US Treasury imposed sanctions against BCS Bank on November 21. The restrictions also included Gazprombank, Primsotsbank, the head of the department of the national payments system of the Bank of Russia, Alla Bakina, the first vice-presidents of the Central Bank, Vladimir Chistyukhin and Dmitry Tulin. In total, about 100 people and companies were added to the sanctions list.
Following the introduction of restrictions, Gazprombank and Primsotsbank warned their clients about problems with the operation of UnionPay cards abroad. TASS wrote that Gazprombank removed UnionPay from the list of cards available for issuance.
The Gazprombank application disappeared from the App Store back in April 2024. The bank urged customers to use Internet banking and not delete previously installed versions of the application.
