Apple sent an internal note to Apple Stores and authorized service centers saying it has made it easier to replace speakers in MacBook Pros with Apple Silicon processors.
For the first time in 2015, the company is offering to replace only some of the speakers, without affecting other parts. Previously, for replacement and repair, the entire upper part of the body had to be replaced.
In addition, Cupertino residents will sell speakers for DIY replacement. At first, the change affected only the M4 method, but then it became known that it would affect all MacBooks with Apple Silicon.
It is noted that the repair is quite complicated. However, now at least this has become possible.
