Apple will release iOS 19 in September 2025, but most of its new features will not be available at launch, reports Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.
According to him, Apple has installed “more features than usual” before the release of iOS 19.4 in the spring of 2026. Among them is a new Siri, which will be able to better interact with users and perform more complex tasks.
The company is taking a similar approach to iOS 18. iOS 18.1 introduced support for Apple Intelligence, and iOS 18.2 added ChatGPT integration with Siri, as well as AI for creating images and emoji. In iOS 18.4 (scheduled for release in spring 2025), Siri will learn to control applications. Moreover, all these functions were announced back in June 2024.
