Redmond’s reaction comes after players complained of being unable to open affected video games after installing Windows 11 24H2 on their computers. A flaw that became even more obvious after the debut Star Wars Outlaws on Steam late last week.
Microsoft does not indicate what the specific reason for this inconvenient situation is, but it does mention that reported incidents include black screenshots that prevent affected games from launching. They also explain that titles can stop answering when starting or loading a game or even in the middle gameplay.
In addition to Star Wars OutlawsUbisoft offers that were affected by the Windows 11 24H2 update, Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Origin of Assassin’s Creed And Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
