The company added that it has increased the speed and coverage of LTE T2 in the regions of its presence. Network coverage of the population reached 98.73%. As T2 technical director Alexey Dmitriev explained, in 2024 the company was able to resolve difficulties in the construction of infrastructure and restore the previous pace of work. Dmitriev added that in preparation for the launch of VoLTE in the regions, the company was upgrading switching centers across the country.
T2 Mobile LLC’s revenue in 2023 increased by 18% to 245.6 billion rubles, net profit amounted to 44 billion rubles (a year earlier – 25.2 billion rubles).
The mobile operator Tele2 changed its name to T2 in September 2024. Information about the beneficial owners of the company is hidden. In 2020, the mobile operator belonged to Rostelecom.
