RKN did not record any massive failures. The problems are due to the fact that in certain sections of the large operators’ networks “local problems” were observed: damage to the fiber optic communication cable during construction work and failures of the equipment software, the department states.

They added that at 19:30 Moscow time, “the software problem was resolved”: telecom operators provide services “in full” and work on restoring the cable continues.

Previously, subscribers of large operators reported technical problems, as follows from information on the Downdetector.su portal. Users of MTS, Megafon and Beeline also complained about the failures.

The MTS press service did not respond to RB.RU’s request. Megafon reported that problems were observed in the Murmansk region due to a broken communication line.
