Digital Foundry made a comparison between the PSSR used on the PS5 Pro and PC rivals that use similar graphics settings.
The results show that PSSR outperforms AMD FSR 2 during camera movement and reduces foliage and geometry issues. But Sony’s technology exhibits noise that FSR 2 doesn’t have, while AMD’s stills look sharper and more stable.
NVIDIA DLSS again demonstrated its superiority, as in other games. This technology provides flawless image quality, both static and dynamic, even in performance mode.
But PSSR managed to keep more details in motion, showing the potential for further development.
