Starting December 1, M.Video-Eldorado is launching an updated trade-in program that allows customers to return their old smartphones and purchase any product in the store chain. The program update expanded the list of accepted devices to 3,500 models, including dozens of brands. The service is available in all regions of Russia, except Kaliningrad and the region. Customers can calculate the cost of a traded-in smartphone in advance using the online calculator on the company’s website and make a final evaluation of the device in the store.
According to the company’s Deputy General Director Denis Golyshev, the demand for renewed equipment is growing rapidly, making this an important area for business. The updated exchange offers more opportunities: you can exchange devices of different brands, choose spare equipment, including large household appliances, and also exchange multiple devices at once to increase the discount. Golyshev emphasized that M.Video guarantees the quality of restored devices and store specialists assist with secure data deletion.
The program is only valid for smartphones that are in working order and do not have serious defects, and devices that do not turn on will not be accepted. Returned equipment is either resold after processing or sent for recycling. In the future, the company plans to add other categories to the exchange, including tablets, game consoles and TVs. In addition to smartphones, customers can also purchase refurbished laptops and consoles from M.Video-Eldorado stores.
