Opera launched this Wednesday (28) a major update for its authoring tool integrated with the browser’s native AI, Aria. With the new feature, the company promises the following: improve text renderingadding a number of features and redesigned interface.
The functionality, titled Typing Mode 2.0, was developed from Opera Developer’s AI Feature Drops program. Transform loose ideas into complete and refined texts according to given themes or instructions. It also helps you refine your writing using quick commands like “Check Spelling” and “Adjust.”
Customization of selected texts in input fields with a single command is another highlight of the update. Right-click on the selected partition and call Aria to run the job; it can also expand the content according to the user’s needs.
With the Opera browser’s AI Typing Mode 2.0, all interactions are recorded in the side panel, providing easy access to the history for queries or revisions. As the company emphasizes, the chatbot brings a lot of practicality to the user by helping to write emails, reports and “all kinds of repetitive text”.

Version 2.0 of Aria’s Writing Mode also introduces improvements to context handling, giving it greater ability to adapt to each person’s style and needs. Moreover, technology has begun to better understand previous interactions and provide more accurate recommendations based on these conversations.
