This Tuesday (03) Google started rolling out its Veo AI model to more Google Cloud customers worldwide, allowing more users to, create videos from simple textual descriptions. The vehicle was presented by the company in May.

The system, which is a rival to OpenAI’s video creator Sora and appeared during Google I/O 2024, interprets user commands Create clips up to six seconds long at 24 or 30 fps. At 1080p resolution, footage can include people, animals and objects.

The new feature will also be able to create content in different visual and cinematographic styles using sources such as landscape photos and time-lapse. It can also be used to edit existing footage, including longer projects, allowing you to replace certain parts of the recording.

According to Warren Barkley, Google Cloud’s senior director of product management, Veo has been undergoing improvements since its announcement and has been slow to roll out to a wider audience as a result.

The AI ​​that produces the video also has invisible marks added to the frames to prevent use in deepfakes.

Imagen 3 also has an extended offer

Currently, Google Veo is available in a limited-featured version for Google Cloud users and there are no plans to roll out the full version. To access AI, interested customers must sign a contract with the service.

The Mountain View giant also confirmed the expanded availability of Imagen 3, which is now available to all cloud service customers. Artificial intelligence, which converts texts into photos and creates content in a wide variety of styles in line with user requests, has gained many improvements.

Both Veo and Imagen 3 are available to Vertex AI usersartificial intelligence platform of big technology. According to the company, both tools focus on creating content for advertising, marketing, education and training.
