The ROCIT Commission for the Development of Electronic Commerce today discussed a bill on mandatory pre-installation of RuStore.
Deputy Anton Gorelkin explained during the meeting that the main goal of the new law is “to create conditions that Apple will allow users to install applications from an alternative store.”
There will be no ban on the sale of Apple equipment. Those who spread such statements are trying to manipulate public opinion. Our bill does not contain any restrictions that could lead to this.
This approach fully meets and positions ROCIT as an organization that systematically advocates for the protection of the rights of Internet users (and, accordingly, the rights of users of modern gadgets).
