Initially, Joe Fay, the owner of the new Tesla electric car, mentioned this in a video he published on TikTok. Fey complained that the Cybertruck’s headlights had a design flaw (or a faulty design by the designers) and that this was evident in the winter.

The problem is that the headlights are mounted in the form of a thin strip located in a special niche. During snowfall, snow accumulates in this niche, filling the space between the bumper and headlights and blocking the light. This defect is probably irreparable.

According to the vehicle owner, snow blocks the headlight niche more when the vehicle is parked. Fey repeatedly emphasized in the video that she could not believe that Tesla designers made such a serious mistake when designing the Cybertruck.

“Obviously, if the vehicle is newly parked, the snow will accumulate there and obscure the headlights. This is definitely a problem,” Fay concluded.
