At the same time, vegetable proteins can saturate the body and protect it from exceeding the daily calorie intake. If necessary, plant foods can be replaced with meat, but preferably low-fat varieties: chicken, turkey, rabbit.
“Plant protein is found in legumes, mushrooms, plant-based meat and dairy, and nuts. We often forget about these healthy products, which are the basis for making satisfying and healthy snacks. Instead of protein snacks, we mostly prefer sweets and carbohydrates, which negatively affects not only weight, but also health – the risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and obesity increases significantly,” the expert warns.
