OpenAI has finally released Sora, a generative AI model that can create realistic videos via text commands, announced in February and tested by creators. Users of the Plus and Pro versions of ChatGPT began accessing this feature last Monday (09)..
The artificial intelligence that brought developments regarding the vehicle, which appeared at the beginning of the year, was called Sora Turbo. Anyone who pays the monthly fee of $20 for ChatGTP Plus (R$121.57 for daily rate in direct conversion) is entitled to create up to 50 videos every month with OpenAI Sora. The content is no more than five seconds long and has a resolution of 720p.
For $200 (R$1,215) per month, ChatGPT Pro subscribers gain access to the most complete version of generative AI. There are unlimited video generations in slow queue mode and 500 faster video generations per month at Full HD resolution (1080p) for up to 20 seconds of content.
According to the company, Sora Turbo is available to users in the United States and other countries and may present some limitations at this point, such as difficulty in realistic representation of physics in daily life. OpenAI will expand the tool’s offering in 2025.
