According to the analytical company Jon Peddie Research (JPR), in the third quarter of 2024, the company’s share increased by 2% compared to the previous period, reaching 90%.

While AMD ranked second with a 10% share, it lost its 2% share. Although Intel is trying to gain a foothold with its Arc series, it is almost absent from the market and has a share of less than 1%.

NVIDIA’s record share raises concerns: Lack of competition allows the company to maintain high prices.

The new RTX 50XX series cards based on Blackwell architecture are expected to be even more expensive in 2025.

However, AMD is preparing to introduce the Radeon RX 8000 based on the RDNA 4 architecture. These cards are capable of competing with the existing NVIDIA RTX 40XX series, although their chances seem modest compared to the new Blackwell.
