Reports of technical problems began to arrive after 10:45 Moscow time. Customers of the credit institution noted problems with payments, transfers and application. “It doesn’t work with the word ‘at all’, neither transfer money nor pay, ugly bank,” wrote one of the users on Downdetector.su.

The peak of complaints about Gazprombank’s work on Downdetector.su occurred at 14:00 Moscow time, at that time 156 people reported problems. At most on “Sboy.RF” at 13:45 Moscow time, the number of complaints was 42. In total, over the last 24 hours, more than 1.8 thousand customers reported problems.

“Some users may have had difficulty making transfers and payments for a short time. Currently all services are functioning normally,” RB.RU was informed in the press service of the credit institution.

In mid-November, the US Treasury added Gazprombank to the SDN sanctions list. The bank subsequently warned its clients about problems with the operation of cards of the Chinese payment system UnionPay outside Russia.

Together with Gazprombank, BCS bank, state corporation Dom.RF and other companies were sanctioned by the American department. In total, around 100 legal and natural persons.
