As Reuters reports, a lack of correct tire pressure data can lead to driving on flat tires, which in turn risks becoming a catalyst for an accident.
Tesla representatives said the issue will be fixed through an over-the-air software update. Other problems with the group’s machines were resolved in a similar way.
Tesla vehicles accounted for 21% of all U.S. vehicle recalls in the first three quarters of the year, according to auto recall company BizzyCar.
In September, the company recalled 1,858,774 vehicles, the highest number in the United States. In November, the company recalled 2,400 Cybertrucks, the sixth such recall of an electric truck this year.
In December, customers also complained that new Tesla cars were experiencing autonomous computer failures due to a short circuit.
