TimeCapsule is made of fiber-reinforced polycarbonate. Although the case increases the weight approximately 10 times to 100 grams, it ensures a long operating time. The company recommends using Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA batteries.

There are also some compromises. The casing muffles about a third of the AirTag’s sound, making it difficult to hear. But for those who want a long-lasting, low-maintenance tracker, this seems like a “reasonable compromise.”

TimeCapsule is priced at $19.99 per unit and discounts may be available when purchasing multiple units.
