The investment group of Gennady Timchenko Volga Group sold the beverage business, the Aquanika brand was acquired by businessman Mikhail Soskov, RBC found out. The amount of the transaction is not disclosed.
It should be noted that at the Aquanikb premises, in particular, Chernogolovka drinks will be bottled. At the same time, according to the source, Soskov is one of the partners of this manufacturer.
Aquanika was founded in 2007, its new owner was Center Lock JSC, owned by Soskov. The businessman confirmed to the publication the fact of the deal with the Volga Group.
The group itself refused to disclose the cost of the purchase.
“The transaction was cash in nature and was carried out at a fair market price. We do not comment on other details of the transaction,” Volga Group told the publication.
In 2017, Infoline-analytics valued the entire Aquanica business at about 1.5 billion rubles. Today, its value, according to the analytical company, does not exceed one billion rubles.
