The press service noted that the Special Equipment Plant has been operating in the Russian market for more than 20 years and its production facilities are located in Lakinsk, Vladimir region. Motorika was founded in 2015; develops and produces functional cyberprostheses for the upper and lower extremities. In 2023, the company’s revenue amounted to 1.9 billion rubles, compared to 597 million rubles in 2022, net profit – 636 million rubles.

In early December, the prosthetics manufacturer raised 100 million rubles from the Moscow Venture Fund. The money was provided in the form of a loan for a period of two years and will be used to prepare the company for an initial public offering (IPO), which should take place in 2026.
