Microsoft has announced that it will discontinue the standard Windows Mail and Calendar applications for older versions of Outlook: starting January 1, 2025, they will no longer be accessible from either a PC or a smartphone.

They will also be removed from the official Microsoft store. But the functionality will still be available to users in the updated Outlook client, writes TASS.
The company encourages users to actively export emails and contacts to the new Outlook. In this case, through the menu of the old email client on your PC, you will be able to view old letters. The remaining operations will no longer be possible.
