According to sources, Qualcomm has tasked Samsung to develop a prototype chip using 2nm technology, which will probably be codenamed “Ulysses”. The development is expected to be completed in the second half of 2026. If Samsung can overcome its low chip yield issues and stabilize its manufacturing processes, it could return to Qualcomm’s supply chain.
