Maestri, who has served as Apple’s CFO since 2014, has led the company’s growth during his tenure. Parekh, an 11-year veteran of Apple, previously led the financial planning, investor relations and market research teams. Before joining Apple, he held senior positions at Thomson Reuters and General Motors.

While CEO Tim Cook thanked Maestri for his contributions in his farewell message to investors, Maestri also expressed his gratitude, stating that it was a great honor to serve as Apple’s CFO.

Apple also announced that Maestri will continue to work at the company as president of its enterprise services division.
