The equipment of both smartphones is the same. There is only one cable and one pin to open the SIM card tray.
Naturally, the Galaxy A16 started working faster than the younger A06. The size of the second is slightly larger than the first. Moreover, the matrix of A06 is IPS, while the matrix of A16 is AMOLED. So the old model will have a brighter screen. It also has a higher refresh rate: 60 Hz versus 90 Hz.
Fingerprint unlocking is noticeably faster on the A16 compared to the A06. At the same time, face unlock does not work for some reason in the younger version.
In both cases there is a MediaTek processor. But for A06 it is G85, for A16 it is G99. You can see the results of their tests below.
I chose this instead of advertising.
A06 lacks NFC module compared to A16.
A16 cameras will also be better. It also has an ultra-wide lens, which is not available on the A06. You can see photo examples above.
The A16 is better than the A06 in almost every respect. The only thing the younger version wins over is the price. So you should still get the Galaxy A16 if possible.
