LG announced the creation of a section with artificial intelligence in its TVs. It will include a new version of the remote control, now called “AI Remote”. The company hasn’t specified exactly how Copilot will work on these models, but it promises that the tool will help users efficiently search and organize information based on the context of the request. LG also showcased its chatbot that integrates into TVs, and Copilot is expected to be available for more complex queries as well.

In response, Samsung has announced a new line of TVs branded Vision AI that will use artificial intelligence for functions such as image scaling, HDR enhancement and adaptive sound. There’s also a dedicated AI button on the remote for quick access to functions like recognizing food on-screen and analyzing video streams from smart cameras to ensure safety. Copilot will also be part of this feature package and will offer personalized content recommendations.
