The device is expected to be available in the first or second quarter of 2025. While the design and all the features of the new product remain a secret, the basic parameters of the processor are already known.
AMD Ryzen AI 9 Max+ 395 is equipped with 16 cores and 32 threads, runs at up to 5.1 GHz, has 40 RDNA 3.5 processing units with 80 MB cache and Radeon 8060S graphics cores.
Processor power consumption varies from 45 to 120 W. According to AMD, it is three times faster than the Intel Core Ultra 9 288V (Lunar Lake) in terms of CPU performance and 2.2 times faster than the NVIDIA RTX 4090 in AI tests (based on LM Studio).
For comparison, the company had previously released the EVO-X1 mini PC with Ryzen AI 9 HX370, 32 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD for 5,299 yuan (~ 74,000 rubles). The price of the new model has not been announced yet.
