The RuStore app store continues to grow: in December 2024, its monthly audience reached 50 million users over 12 years old across Russia. According to Mediascope research, this makes RuStore one of the leaders among Russian and foreign application stores, taking second place after Google Play.

Compared to other popular app stores such as Xiaomi Mi Store (19 million users), Samsung Galaxy Store (14 million) and HUAWEI AppGallery (10 million), RuStore confidently maintains its position in the market.

One of the reasons for the growth of the audience was the increased functionality of the platform. In particular, the application and game catalog increased significantly, growing from 30 thousand to 50 thousand during the year. Additionally, new features have been added for both users and developers. For example, now you can replenish the balance of popular games and services in the “Kiosk” section, and new tools and APIs have appeared for application creators, including the ability to pay for purchases in applications downloaded from any source.

RuStore head Dmitry Pankrushev noted that a third of Runet users choose the platform as their main application store, which confirms the high level of trust in the service. RuStore plans to expand its range of exclusive applications and games in 2025 and strengthen its presence on various devices.

It is also worth noting that RuStore’s growth has stimulated advertising demand. For example, Chinese game developers spent more than 60 million rubles on promotion through the VK Advertising platform in 2024.
