Users complain about problems with starting the system, and a check at AMD service centers confirms that these are fake.

How to recognize a fake?

  • Real Ryzen 9800X3D processors have blue PCB color, while fake processors have dark green PCB like previous Ryzen 7000 models (like R9 7900X or R7 7700X).
  • The original chip’s PCB is marked 33050, while fake chips often have the number 32546.
  • There may be errors in stickers or fake boxes; for example, writing “Ryzen 9” instead of “Ryzen 7”.

To avoid purchasing counterfeit products, it is recommended to purchase processors only from official dealers or authorized stores.
