“Fallas are effectively recorded, which requires additional measures to guarantee uninterrupted functioning. The relevant departments must account for this, ”said Pisskov at a press conference. He sent the question about the reasons for the failures to Roskomnadzor.
Previously, on January 24, the subscribers of the main operators, including Megafon, MTS, Yota, T2, Rostelecom and Beeline, complained about the ruling. Problems with Telegram, Twitch, WhatsApp, VTB and other services and companies were also recorded.
Roskomnadzor informed RB.RU that they registered a failure in the Megafon infrastructure, which was repaired by the operator’s specialists. They clarified that problems “in Megafon’s foreign connections with European communication networks” were observed. According to RKN, there were no problems in the networks of other operators.
The last large -scale ruling of Runet occurred on January 14. That day, the subscribers of MTS, Beeline, Rostelecom, T2 and other telecommunications operators lost access to the network. The RKN described the problems as an “interruption of short -term connectivity.”
The Vdomosti source in one of the operators associated the ruling with problems with the technical means to fight the threats (TSPU) of Roskomnadzor and the main radiofrequency center subordinate to it. TSPU have settled on the networks of operators since 2019 and used to filter traffic and block online resources prohibited in Russia.
