As part of a new job, experts worked with 25 people who were diagnosed with depression and anxiety and treated in a hospital in Indiana. There were 11 men and 14 women in the research group. Their average age was 42.1. In the spring of 2023, they used virtual reality sets three times a week for 10 weeks. Each meditation session took 30 minutes.

The results confirmed previous consequences that meditation sessions in virtual reality greatly facilitated their symptoms of depression and anxiety in humans. In addition, in this way they control their feelings better.
