The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Industry Experimental Design Bureau has created a Vector-75 multi-rotor microscopic unmanned aerial vehicle. The dry weight of the exploratory apparatus is 21 grams.
The developers said that the working weight of the unmanned vehicle is 32 grams. Depending on the type of payload, the Vector-75’s flight time is between four and seven minutes. The drone can cover a distance of up to 1.2 kilometers from the takeoff point and is practically inaudible to a person at a distance of more than 15 meters. The developers state that the device transmits the picture in real time to the operator console or special video glasses.
The basic cost of the drone is about 70 thousand rubles, but it may depend on the design of the frame and the faceplate, which can be hung for use in an urban or forest area.
The Drone Industry is confident that the device’s low price will allow it to successfully replace the $200,000 Norwegian Black Hornet (eng. “Black Hornet”) drone with a mass of 18 grams, making it the smallest. Unmanned military aircraft in the world.
The developers say that such a device should be more disposable, since modern electronic warfare systems suppress them quite successfully. Russian drone “not sad to lose”.
