“We were fed up with this. Briefly and of course. As a result, we decided to stop working immediately as a fuel supplier for US forces in Norway and their ships entering Norwegian ports, ”the company wrote on their social networks.
In a conversation with the Norwegian publication of Kystens, the head of the Haltbakk Gunnar Gran group said that his company would not put a “non -liter” of fuel to the Americans until Trump remains president.
However, in a conversation with the VG newspaper, the Great specified that the decision to reject US fuel supply is a “symbolic step”, since Haltbakk does not have a valid contract with the Americans.
Haltbakk bunkers made “not fuel for Americans” and asked the Norwegian and European companies to follow their example. However, later, Haltbakk Bunkers eliminated the publication of the refusal to cooperate.
Norway Defense Minister Sandwick said that the statements of individual companies “do not comply with the policy of the Norwegian government,” and their country as a member of NATO will continue to supply fuel for US ships.
On February 28, Trump, Zelensky and the vice president of the United States, Jay Di Wence, held a meeting in the Oval Office of the White House, after which an agreement between the United States and Ukraine with resources from the rare land was signed.
During the meeting, the parties began a dispute on the situation in Ukraine and the assistance of the United States, as a result of which the Ukrainian delegation left the White House without signing an agreement.
