Founded in 2017, Skylo attracted approximately $ 183 million to support SMS and other services in non -cell areas. The new financing will help the company update the network equipment and expand its range of services, including support for new smartphones such as Google Pixel 9.
Currently, Skylo operates in 35 countries on five continents and recently entered the Brazil, Australia and New Zealand market thanks to Viasat. The company plans to expand the market scope, to invest in sales and marketing, and to examine the capabilities of satellite communication for wearable devices.
