On the official website of Tesla China, only Model 3 and Model Y are now available. Customers are invited to learn about Model S, Model X and Cybertruck. New orders for these two models were suspended in Tesla account in China Wechat Mini Messenger.
Chinese plant Gigafactory Tesla only produces Model 3 and Model Y, and the model S and model X is imported from the US, making them more expensive for Chinese buyers. Probably, in connection with this, Tesla’s Chinese section stopped receiving orders for these models.
The entry into force of new Chinese tariffs increased the prices of American imports to 125%, which was a response to the introduction of tasks growing up to 145%.
