The Boeing Company, an American corporation, foresees a decrease in demand for its products in the coming years and attributes this to the “uncertainty” regarding the supply of high-pressure jet aircraft to the Russian Federation, as well as the economic crisis. world, which is brewing due to the tense situation surrounding the Ukrainian conflict and the sanctions against Russia.

Boeing cuts forecasts for new plane deliveries and passenger traffic

According to Bloomberg, the company's plans for annual aircraft supply through 2041 following the company's withdrawal from the domestic market in March have changed significantly.

If previously the corporation intended to supply customers with 43,610 new aircraft for the specified year, it now estimates its capacity at 41,170 aircraft.

Boeing planned to transfer about 1,500 planes directly to Russia in the next 20 years, but now our country "is no longer a target market" for the company.

Boeing analysts also changed the forecast for annual passenger traffic: before its growth was estimated at 4%, but now it has been reduced to 3.8%.

Darren Hulst, Boeing's vice president of commercial segment marketing, points out that the conflict in Ukraine and the directly related global economic crisis caused a decline in demand for new aircraft.
