Aircar has been created for more than 30 years. The fourth version of the car has already made more than 500 test flights. The fifth, advanced model, which will enter mass production, should climb into the air in September. Transportation is expected to receive from the European Aviation Security Agency (EASA) and the US Federal Civil Aviation Department (FAA) according to international standards.
Aircar is a pair of vehicles that can move both along the road and by air. The conversion from car to plane takes about 80 seconds. During the preparation for the flight, the wings are arranged, the tail is extended and the motor passes from the wheels to a screw.
In the version of the mass market, three V6 engine options with a capacity of 280 to 340 horsepower are offered. On the earth, the maximum speed up to 200 km/h will be about 250 km/h in the air. Travel supply – up to 1000 km on the flight and up to 800 km on the road. The car is decent with ordinary high octane gasoline.
Aircar’s cost will be US dollars of 800,000 to 1.2 million depending on the configuration.
