The researchers examined how electrons behaved in this material and realized that electrons were distributed unequally with the help of a special laser. This created small internal electric fields, as in PN transitions used in micro -circuits and other electronic devices.
Although such an effect makes it difficult to use the material in quantum technologies, for example, it opens opportunities to create ultra and precision electronic components for areas where the magnetic properties of Spintronics – electrons are used.
Scientists are now trying to learn how to manage this phenomenon.
