Honor 200 vs iPhone 14 Pro: Screen and Design
In terms of the screen, we see a very even comparison, as, aside from some perhaps unnoticeable differences in color calibration, both panels are very similar and, most importantly, fantastic.
And while the most noticeable difference in terms of specs is in the peak brightness section, keep in mind that the Honor 2000’s 4,000 nits are for HDR images, not the peak brightness you can get in normal usage scenarios.
In terms of design, the iPhone 14 Pro certainly looks premium, with a stainless steel frame and glass backs made from Corning glass. While which one looks better is entirely subjective, we think the iPhone 14 Pro’s materials give Apple’s phone a much more premium and durable feel.
Honor 200 vs iPhone 14 Pro: Who Has the Better Camera?
In terms of photography, we think the iPhone 14 Pro is superior in terms of video, not just in terms of specs (you can record 4K at 60 fps with both the main and selfie cameras, for example), but the results look better stabilized and the transition between lenses is very natural, which is not the case with the Honor 200, where you will see a jump in the image when changing lenses. And it’s not that the video you record on the Honor 200 is bad, it’s actually quite good, but the iPhone 14 Pro has a better one.
As for the cameras, the results seem to be very similar to each other, and we leave the photo below as an example.
Now, when it comes to portrait mode, we think the comparison is in the Honor 200’s favor. For example, when it comes to color portraits, notice the hair on top of the head, it seems well defined in the Honor 200 portrait, while in the iPhone 14 Pro photo it shows a strange blur. We also noticed better shadow balance and even more detail in areas that aren’t the focus, like clothing.

In the second portrait, taken in black and white, we again see a more detailed image captured by the Honor 200. Note, for example, the eyelashes, the hair on the top of the head again, and even the pattern in the upper right corner. We noticed that the portraits on the Honor 200 not only provide a higher level of detail, but also retouch the photo to give it a much more artistic look.

So which one has the better camera? We think we have a strong connection, and we deserve an honorable mention for the fantastic portraits taken with the Honor 200.
Honor 200 vs iPhone 14 Pro: Processor and Battery
When it comes to the processor, there is no denying that the Apple A16 Bionic offers better performance than the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Honor 200. And while you will notice fairly similar performance between both devices in everyday tasks, in the graphics department, especially when playing video games, you will notice a very noticeable difference. So if graphics quality is crucial when buying, definitely go for the iPhone 14 Pro.
On the other hand, in the battery section, we see a very noticeable advantage for the Honor 200, which in normal and moderate conditions of use will provide you with up to a day and a half of battery life. On the other hand, it is very likely that by the end of the day you will have to charge the battery of the iPhone 14 Pro.
And if battery capacity is important, the Honor 200’s 100W fast charger charges 60% of the battery in under half an hour. The iPhone 14 Pro charges to the same 60% in 42 minutes.
Honor 200 vs iPhone 14 Pro: Which is Better?
When summing up the pros and cons of each phone, we notice that each one excels in areas where the other doesn’t. Specifically, the iPhone 14 Pro has a more powerful chipset and delivers better video quality, while the Honor 200 delivers more detailed portraits, and battery life and fast charging make a noticeable difference.
So, which one would we recommend? In terms of price, we would say that the Honor 200 is an extremely affordable candidate. Let’s say if you are planning to buy an iPhone 14 Pro because of your budget, the Honor 200 will probably leave you more than satisfied and with about $500 to spare.
